Strong winds across the exposed summit made drone control difficult, especially when attempting stable orbits around the tower. Sudden gusts forced repeated adjustments and several aborted takes to maintain safety and smooth footage. We overcame this by working in short windows of calmer weather and lowering flight height to improve stability and control.

Filming at Glastonbury Tor showed how quickly natural conditions can affect even well-planned shoots. It reinforced the need to adapt constantly rather than rely on fixed plans. Most importantly, it highlighted how patience and timing can make the difference between unusable footage and a successful capture.
